It takes just a few minutes and donations can be made directly on the website for any sponsored event or appeal. You can create a fundraising page for absolutely anything. You could get sponsored to run, swim, cycle, get fit, grow a moustache or have your head shaved. You can even create a page in memory of someoneor instead of wedding gifts. Churches
Churches in the UK and Ireland have played a vital role in the work of Papua partners since its beginnings. The example of how the church in Papua is engaged in social issues can also inspire your congregation. Schools
Have fun raising money with your school friends and teachers to help remote schools in West Papua or other issues. If you would like further information to help you with your campaign please contact us through info@papuapartners.org.
Companies
Raise money at work. Include your colleagues – and your boss – in fundraising or volunteering for Papua Partners. Many companies are involved in supporting charities in some way – through sponsorship or by encouraging their employees in fund raising activities.
You could adopt Papua Partners as one of your company’s charities and hold a workplace fundraising event, or ask your company to make donations by starting a tax-free payroll giving scheme.
As well as being good for the people of West Papua, these activities are great for staff morale and team spirit. Larger companies may also have made a pledge to show ‘corporate social responsibility’ within your community or in society as a whole.
